When three creative women in Fairbanks, each running a small business of her own, decided to reimagine what an artisan market could feel like, the result was Cozy Collective.

Cozy Collective was created with intention, care, and a shared belief that markets can be more than rows of booths and rushed transactions. Designed as a two-day experience, the market blends artful shopping, thoughtful curation, and meaningful moments of connection, all wrapped in a genuinely cozy atmosphere.

The idea for Cozy Collective didn’t begin all at once. Each of us had independently dreamed about hosting a market that felt better for both vendors and guests. Once we started talking, it became clear that we shared the same vision, and that together, we could bring it to life.

At its core, Cozy Collective is created by market vendors, for market vendors. With more than 20 years of combined experience participating in markets, we understand the details that matter. From thoughtful booth placement and balanced vendor categories to clear communication and on-site support, every decision is made with both the maker and the shopper in mind. Our goal is for vendors to feel supported, celebrated, and set up for success, whether it’s their first market or their fiftieth.

Curation is central to the Cozy Collective experience. Vendors are selected for craftsmanship, originality, and presentation, ensuring a diverse yet cohesive shopping environment. Alongside beloved local favorites, we intentionally welcome new-to-market and new-to-Fairbanks makers, as well as artists from beyond the region, creating a mix that feels fresh, inspiring, and uniquely Alaskan.

But Cozy Collective isn’t just about shopping. It’s about slowing down.

Throughout the market, guests are invited to linger in thoughtfully designed “Cozy Corners,” including spaces like the Letter Lounge, where handwritten notes are encouraged and mailed for you, and the Book Nook, a bring-one, take-one book exchange. These moments are meant to foster connection, rest, and presence, turning a market visit into an experience.

Supporting local makers is especially meaningful to us. Every purchase keeps dollars in the community and supports a neighbor’s dream. As small business owners and parents, we’re deeply invested in building a creative ecosystem that our kids can grow up watching, learning from, and someday participating in themselves.

Cozy Collective was founded by Brianna Reagan, Denise Serino, and Kendra Folsom, whose combined creative strengths, entrepreneurial experience, and shared values brought this vision to life. Together, we’re not just creating a market. We’re creating an experience, and laying the foundation for a new fall tradition in Fairbanks rooted in artistry, connection, and community.

We believe in:

Thoughtful Curation

We believe markets should be selective in a way that supports growth. Thoughtful curation challenges makers to level up while giving guests a shopping experience that feels fresh, balanced, and intentional. Instead of repetition, Cozy Collective is designed to surprise and inspire, creating a market that’s rewarding to participate in and a joy to explore.

Vendor-Centered by Design

Created by market vendors, for market vendors, Cozy Collective is shaped by firsthand experience. We know the small details that make a big difference, from booth placement and clear communication to on-site support and thoughtful logistics. Our goal is for every vendor to feel supported, celebrated, and set up for success.

Supporting Creative Growth

We’re passionate about creating opportunities for both emerging and established makers. By welcoming new-to-market vendors alongside familiar favorites, Cozy Collective fosters mentorship, visibility, and creative momentum. Supporting small businesses means helping them grow, evolve, and thrive beyond a single weekend.

Community First

Cozy Collective is built around connection, not just commerce. We designed the market to bring people together, supporting relationships between makers, shoppers, and the wider Fairbanks community. Every decision is rooted in creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where people feel comfortable lingering, connecting, and coming back year after year.

Intentional Experiences

We believe markets should feel unhurried and human. Through interactive spaces like our Cozy Corners, we invite guests to slow down, take a break, and engage in meaningful moments, whether that’s writing a letter, piecing a puzzle, swapping a book, or simply sitting with a coffee.
